Andrew Douglas

Chief Executive

Barts & The London Charity

Andrew was appointed Chief Executive of Barts and The London Charity (B+TLC) in May 2007 to build and implement a strategic and operational framework.

Operating at Board level, has specialised in spearheading ‘change management’ issues leading to the restructuring, refinancing and sale of a state owned Bank, rationalisation of an international payments business, and overseeing a major global regulatory programme involving international regulators and representation on industry boards.

Andrew was a member of the Review Group which oversaw the creation of the Association and has been a member of the interim Council since it was formed in July 2008.

He is also Chairman of Governors of a private school in Surrey.
